Role OverviewThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for coordinating the maintenance and repair of production or processing machines and equipment with minimal downtime. The role involves checking, setting up, and operating various types of production tools and equipment prior to approving for production use. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager maintains building and facility.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include reporting to General Manager & Plant Manager, monitoring warranties and service guarantees, conducting selective inventory, taking utility meter readings, and ordering parts and supplies. The role also involves overseeing contract work, improving career skills, and assisting in selection and installation of capital and expense projects.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have four years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant, with a high school diploma or GED. Preferred candidates will have college and/or related technical courses, and five years of experience in the corrugated box industry with heavy experience in electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity.
