Role OverviewThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all maintenance engineer and corrective maintenance resources for the plant. This includes management of all Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Engineers, and Controls Engineers as well as indirect management of Maintenance Technicians. The Maintenance Manager is also ultimately responsible for all shut-down planning, preparation, contractor management, and execution of shutdown activities.
What You Will Do
Manage Maintenance Supervisors and Engineers, analyze downtime reports, work with maintenance engineers to determine improvements, and establish/ensure execution of PM plans for all production equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and fluid power, as well as experience in maintenance leadership and project management. Prior experience in forging is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable of electronics, mechanics, and fluid power
- Knowledge of equipment controlling software such as Siemens PLC Suite and Allen-Bradley Suite
- Knowledge of ABB robots
- Ability to use electronic diagnostics equipment
- Manual skills to operate tools and equipment when necessary
- Skilled in strategic planning and system set-up
- Ability to read electrical wiring and mechanical diagrams
- Ability to draw pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams
- Excellent oral and written language ability
- Basic understanding of trigonometry
- Excellent problem solving and reasoning ability
- Ability to follow written procedures and guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt department plans to changing business or customer needs
- Excellent project management skills
- Knowledge of ISO Environmental regulations
- Ability to lead others
