Role OverviewThe Maintenance Manager will lead day-to-day maintenance operations across all shifts, directing shift leads and technicians to sustain uptime on production equipment. The role requires strong technical background in automated automotive manufacturing equipment, leadership skills, and ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical teams.

Key responsibilities include leading rapid response and structured troubleshooting of complex equipment faults, guiding technicians in root-cause analysis and corrective action, and developing and implementing structured technical training and cross-training programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field
- 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Automotive manufacturing experience required, preferably within a high-volume automated manufacturing environment
- Experience with CMMS systems, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and maintenance planning
- Hands-on technical knowledge of industrial robotics, automated welding systems, controls, and complex automated manufacturing equipment
- Experience with FANUC and/or Nachi robotic systems strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems
- Demonstrated experience developing, training, and mentoring technical teams in robotics, automation, controls, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technicians, supervisors, engineers, external vendors, and plant leadership
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate maintenance documentation and equipment records
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to urgent production needs
- Self-starter with strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to assess technical skill gaps and establish training and development plans across multiple technical disciplines
- Proficiency with CMMS maintenance software and ERP systems preferred
- Comfort with real-time production/downtime dashboards used to identify trends and improvement targets
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new systems quickly with accurate documentation and data-entry skills
