Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of electric and gas welding, blacksmithing, rigging, electricity, pipe fitting, machine tool setup and operation, diesel and internal combustion engines, sheet metal layout and working, heavy and light machinery repairs, construction, maintenance, and installation
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and apply best practices to successfully repair and maintain mining equipment
• Properly communicate the status of assigned job(s) with the relieving shift mechanics and shop supervisors
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
