Maintenance Mechanic - Therapies

This position serves as the primary technician for the Adaptive Devices Department, maintaining, repairing, and fabricating adaptive equipment used throughout the facility. The incumbent consults with medical professionals and constructs, modifies, and repairs custom adaptive equipment using various materials, tools, and specialized equipment.

What You Will Do

Repairs, maintains, and performs adjustments on various adaptive devices, evaluates patients' needs for such devices, and consults with medical professionals and other staff regarding the adaptive devices. Fabricates, cleans, cuts, and fits custom metal components for adaptive devices, involving the skilled use of saws, grinders, metal lathes, milling machines, and plasma cutters.

• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, kneel, stoop, squat, push, pull, lift, and walk extended distances.
