Role OverviewWe are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair all raw fruit processing equipment. The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision, exercise professional and efficient behavior, and be capable of dealing with other employees, including Supervisors and Leads.
What You Will Do
The Maintenance Mechanic will perform light machinist duties, plumbing functions, and maintain general housekeeping. They will also set up and start equipment, lubricate machinery and parts, and change over equipment for product changes.

Requirements
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and Procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units in measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, volume, area, percent and draw/interpret graphs.
- Ability to use welder, torch, hand and power tools, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
