Job Description
The 3rd shift Gummy Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and installation of high-volume automated processing equipment, adhering to SOPs and GMPs. The role involves understanding equipment operation, troubleshooting, and repair, as well as providing guidance to machine operators.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (technical training or certifications are a plus)
  • 3+ years of work experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and operational domains
  • Strong hands-on experience with gummy manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of servo motors, drives, sensors, HMI systems, electrical, and pneumatic systems and associated repairs
  • Familiarity with PLC based equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, HMI fault codes, and technical drawings such as mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, and squat, stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 50lbs
