Role OverviewThe Maintenance Mechanic role requires basic knowledge of General Maintenance, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic, Electrical and Electronic Systems, and Welding (TIG, STICK). Mechanics must follow all safety and GMP’s for the facility at all times.
What You Will Do
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, ensure all assigned daily PM’s are completed, ensure production lines are in good mechanical order, aid other teams, setup and visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, and dismantle defective machines and equipment.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to learn mechanical systems and food manufacturing processes
- Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift or scissor lift or other powered industrial trucks (PIT)
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to read and execute work order, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals
- Ability to read, write, and orally communicate in English
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled
