Role OverviewPerforms various maintenance tasks involving construction and alteration repairs of NEXCOM Hospitality Group NHG buildings and equipment. Plans and lays out work in accordance with drawings, sketches, blueprints, and own knowledge of construction or needed repairs.
What You Will Do
Performs work in at least three of the following trades: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Installs, modifies, and repairs systems, equipment, and fixtures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The incumbent must have knowledge of general maintenance practices, safety and environmental rules, and regulations concerning procedures, tools, mechanical and electrified equipment, chemicals, and basic safe work practices.
Requirements
- One year of experience in general maintenance practices
- One year of high school education may be substituted for 3 months of general experience
- Three years of general maintenance work in involving variety of trade practices
- Recognized professional certification or license in one trade (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or painting)
