Role OverviewJBS is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role is critical to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our high-speed production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
Maintain and repair high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, perform welding tasks, conduct routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, and support the plant equipment.

Requirements
- Must pass a mechanical knowledge test
- Ability to communicate in English
- Physical requirements: Climb ladders, lift heavy objects, work with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery
- Work environment: Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat and cold conditions
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 – 3 years of industrial mechanic experience in a food industry environment preferred
- Basic computer skills a plus
- Ability to learn quickly, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to perform a variety of tasks
