The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for general facility maintenance, lubrication, and repair of heavy production machinery. The role involves modifying existing structural components to comply with safety regulations and cost savings measures. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
What You Will Do
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for general facility maintenance, lubrication, and repair of heavy production machinery. This includes lubrication/oil changing of heavy production machinery, repair/replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters, etc. The role also involves modifying existing structural components to comply with safety regulations and cost savings measures.

Requirements
- High School Degree
- 5+ years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance
- Prior forklift certification a plus
- Familiarity with environmental, health & safety regulations
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems
- Knowledge of pneumatic cylinders and controls
- Extrusion and sheet line experience a plus
