Role OverviewThe Maintenance Mechanic will play a critical role in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Vanguard Renewables' CBD facility in Dade City, FL. This position is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment used in organics processing operations.
What You Will Do
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair material-handling and industrial equipment, conduct routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform necessary repairs.

Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanical systems, electrical (high and low voltage), hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding, plumbing, piping, or carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Welding skills preferred; general electrical knowledge beneficial.
- Forklift and skid loader certifications preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and troubleshoot effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma, GED, technical school training, or relevant hands-on industrial experience.
- Manual dexterity for equipment operation and basic computer documentation.
- Consistent and reliable attendance required.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
