Role OverviewThe Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative/predictive maintenance, repairs and improvements on industrial equipment in an automated food processing facility while keeping a high regard for employee safety, food quality and machine efficiency.
What You Will Do
Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, diagnose malfunctioning machinery, replace faulty electrical components, and plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus.

Must be open to work off shifts and a rotating 4x10 schedule, have a technical degree and three years or more of related experience, and be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business items.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Technical degree and three years or more of related experience and/or training in a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business items
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
- Ability to comprehend basic oral and written communication
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
