Role OverviewThe Maintenance Mechanic performs the installation, maintenance, servicing, repairing and rebuilding of all plant equipment. This position is located in Louisville, KY and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
What You Will Do
Effectively troubleshoot electrical, instrument, and mechanical problems in the field. Repairs, installs and services all plant equipment and building and grounds.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have experience in Instrumentation and Control maintenance. Must be familiar with PLC, DCS, electrical motor controls, VFDs and with some pneumatic experience with strong troubleshooting experience.
Requirements
- HS Diploma
- 5+ years of experience working on industrial equipment and facilities
- Experience in Instrumentation and Control maintenance
- Familiarity with PLC, DCS, electrical motor controls, VFDs and with some pneumatic experience
- Ability to climb ladders and work at significant heights
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to wear a respirator and to enter confined spaces
