We’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd shift who takes pride in quality work and problem-solving. This role is essential in keeping our campus running efficiently and safely through skilled maintenance and repair work across a wide variety of systems and equipment.

? What You’ll Do
You’ll use your hands-on skills to plan, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems across our Carlisle Campus. Tasks include:


Performing work in machining, welding, carpentry, electrical, pipefitting, and plumbing


Installing and aligning machinery and equipment


Operating shop tools and heavy equipment such as lathes, mills, forklifts, and tractors


Maintaining boilers, HVAC systems, and other essential infrastructure


Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical systems


Completing preventative maintenance and repair tasks in a safe and timely manner


Collaborating with a diverse team across departments

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:


Basic understanding of industrial maintenance practices


Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals


Skilled in operating a variety of hand and power tools


Knowledge of shop equipment like mills, lathes, and grinders


Basic math and measurement skills


Clear communication skills — written and verbal


Commitment to safety and continuous improvement


Experience with machine troubleshooting and working in high or confined spaces


Education & Experience:


High school diploma or GED preferred


Completed apprenticeship, technical program, or equivalent mechanical experience preferred


0–4 years of experience for entry-level roles | 4+ years for senior roles


Industrial/manufacturing experience is a plus
