Role OverviewThe Maintenance Mechanic (Refrigeration Specialist) will work cooperatively with Department Heads, employees, patients, visitors, and other personnel to install, repair, plan, design, modify, troubleshoot, safety test, evaluate, and maintain the Hospital's refrigeration and ice machines.
What You Will Do
The Maintenance Mechanic will test, troubleshoot, plan, repair, install, modify, evaluate, and maintain refrigerators, ice machines, small air conditioner equipment, and systems.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience with current engineering practices, City, State, Federal, and JCAHO codes, and will be able to apply them to develop, install, and correct malfunctions in equipment and systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Vocational Training
- Mass Refrigeration and Technicians License
- Minimum of Type 2 EPA Certification
