Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnosis, repair and installation of high-volume automated processing equipment, adhering to SOP's and GMP's to ensure product quality and quantity. They will also provide guidance to machine operator staff and maintain workplace organization and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of work experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical and operational domains
  • Strong hands-on experience with encapsulation machines, tablet presses, and powder blending equipment
  • Knowledge of servo motors, drives, sensors, HMI systems, electrical and pneumatic systems and associated repairs
  • Familiarity with PLC based equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, HMI fault codes, and technical drawings
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for 8 hours
