Job Description
ASRC Federal is seeking a Maintenance Pipefitter to support NASA's program at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. The Pipefitter will be responsible for the daily maintenance of buildings, including assembly and installation of pipe systems and pipe supports.

Requirements

  • Measure, compute, and determine the correct material needed for jobs
  • Perform physical labor work as required, including installation and maintenance of pipes, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Work knowledge of systems to ensure proper operation and act upon any condition that requires immediate action
  • Maintain and repair a variety of pipes and related facilities equipment
  • Perform duties in a safe manner in accordance with safety practices and procedures
  • Coordinate with other trade and warehouse personnel
  • Perform periodic stock inventories and request material requisitions
  • Assist and support other departments, staff and/or trade groups as needed or directed
