Job Description
Alcoa is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Planning & Scheduling Team at our Massena, NY location. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of maintenance activities, including preventive inspections and corrective work. Apply our Reliability Excellence standard work management process and leverage its suite of tools through the proper utilization of EAM (Oracle CMMS System).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in Maintenance or Technical position
  • Experience in HVAC, Construction and Electrical, preferred but not required
  • Solid understanding of equipment and the ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience in maintenance planning (mechanical or electrical), preferably in a heavy manufacturing or utility environment
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints and create detailed work instruction packages
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, advanced problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and resourceful in dynamic environments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage complex schedules
