Role OverviewThe Maintenance Planning Foreman develops, schedules, and optimizes preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance work for ship to shore (STS) cranes, rail mounted gantry (RMG) cranes, rubber-tired gantry (RTG) cranes, shuttle trucks (ST), and associated equipment at GPA's Ocean Terminal. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. The Maintenance Planning Foreman must be willing and able to climb and work at high elevations.
What You Will Do
The Maintenance Planning Foreman plans and schedules all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and engine maintenance and repairs on container cranes, RMG cranes, RTG cranes, ST, and other crane associated equipment. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed job plans, making recommendations for correction of hazards, and consulting with operations to determine their needs and equipment availability.

The ideal candidate will have five years of maintenance planning, reliability, or maintenance coordination experience in port, industrial, or heavy equipment industries. The role requires proficiency in maintenance planning and scheduling principles, CMMS usage, and work order management.
