Role Overview

Performs maintenance, replacement, installation & repair of electrical and plumbing equipment, carpentry work, and basic painting. Operates state vehicle to transport equipment and performs minor custodial duties.

What You Will Do

Performs maintenance, replacement, installation & repair of electrical and plumbing equipment, carpentry work, and basic painting. Operates state vehicle to transport equipment and performs minor custodial duties.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires valid driver license to operate state vehicle and 6 months of training or experience in maintenance repair work. Must be able to work evening shift and be exposed to high & low temperatures and weather.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license required if motor equipment is of type & size regulated by sections 4506.01 & 4506.12 of Ohio revised code
  • Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary
  • 6 months of training or experience in maintenance repair work (e.g., basic electricity, plumbing, carpentry, masonry repair & use of associated hand & power tools & equipment)
  • Valid driver license to operate state vehicle
