Role Overview

The Maintenance Repair Worker 3 serves as a lead worker over inmates or other assigned staff in performance of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance repair work. The role involves performing maintenance and repair of equipment, performing carpentry repairs, and performing interior and exterior grounds keeping duties. The worker must ensure secure maintenance of tools and completes tool counts and inventories. The role also involves controlling/restricting inmate movement to assigned areas, conducting searches of inmates, and responding to emergencies.

What You Will Do

The Maintenance Repair Worker 3 will perform a variety of tasks including semi-skilled and skilled maintenance repair of equipment, carpentry repairs, and interior and exterior grounds keeping duties. The worker will also be responsible for ensuring secure maintenance of tools, controlling/restricting inmate movement, and conducting searches of inmates.
