Role OverviewWe're hiring a Maintenance Section Assistant for our E-Way Maintenance Section in the Amarillo District. Step into a key leadership role, helping oversee roadway maintenance operations that keep the traveling public safe. In this position, you'll support the Maintenance Section Supervisor by coordinating crews, providing day-to-day guidance, and ensuring work is completed efficiently across a designated service area.
What You Will Do
Assists a Maintenance Section Supervisor in overseeing work completed by the crews and contractors, which provides a safe driving thoroughfare within a designated geographical area. Leads the work of transportation maintenance crews and support staff. Work requires responding to emergency notification on an as needed basis.

Requirements
- High School Grad or Equivalent in general education
- 6 years of experience in roadway maintenance or construction related work
- Valid driver’s license
- Commercial Driver Certificate
- Class A Commercial Driver's License
