Role OverviewThe Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for the preservation and upkeep of the property, operating within OSHA Standards and company safety policies. The role requires excellent attendance and communication skills, and the ability to build lasting business relationships.
What You Will Do
Perform continuing education of safety training, complete hazard assessment forms, and utilize proper safety equipment. Maintain accurate records, perform scheduled maintenance, and regularly inspect apartment units, buildings, and common areas.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of property HVAC units, experience in troubleshooting and making repairs, and the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, residents, and vendors.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- EPA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire/promotion
- Knowledge of carpentry, light plumbing work, light electrical work, painting, refurnishing, and cleaning, and air conditioning
- Ability to safely access all areas of the property's grounds, regardless of grounds conditions and/or weather conditions
- Ability to safely lift and carry weights up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance
