Role OverviewThe Maintenance Superintendent supervises workers engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment, and is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure the most effective return on assets.
What You Will Do
The Maintenance Superintendent will utilize working knowledge of electrical systems, automatic equipment operation, and maintenance of plant equipment to maintain the plant at an optimal level. They will also be responsible for supervising both minor and major capital projects, and ensuring safety compliance for buildings, equipment, and staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of management experience and minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a food processing plant. They will also have a working knowledge of preventative maintenance, Powerhouse, facilities, equipment, machinery, refrigeration, pipe fitting, plumbing, welding, ship machinery, sheet metal, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, and instrumentation.
