Role Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the building is in accordance with all applicable building codes, ordinances, and safety regulations. They will perform regular inspections of common areas, fixtures, and appliances, and ensure preventative repairs are done on a regular basis. The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and resolve conflicts.

What You Will Do

The Maintenance Supervisor will perform tasks such as completing apartment turnovers within three days of vacancy, communicating with the Property Manager on turnover schedule, and ensuring apartment turnover time is minimized. They will also be responsible for completing repairs that may involve electrical, plumbing, appliances, or general carpentry, and maintaining a high standard of community cleanliness and curb appeal.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • 2+ years of experience in multi-family maintenance
  • Possess your own hand tools
  • General knowledge of various maintenance functions
