Role OverviewThe Service Director oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the property meets the Company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. This includes performing maintenance related tasks, overseeing the 'make-ready' process, and developing standards for the cleanliness and appearance of the community's grounds, amenities, and buildings. The Service Director also conducts regular inspections, maintains inventory, and assists with budget development.
What You Will Do
The Service Director will assist with and complete work orders, perform routine upkeep, and prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing. They will also develop standards for cleanliness and appearance, inspect work performed by other service team members, and maintain inventory of spare parts and materials.

Requirements
- Employment history demonstrating safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user moved aids, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and MSDS regulations
- 2 to 3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent
- High school diploma or GED; college or technical degree is preferred
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- Valid Certified Pool Operator or a Certified Spa and Pool Operator certificate
- All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Current valid driver's license
