Maintenance Supervisor

As Maintenance Supervisor, you own the daily operations of the maintenance function and partner closely with the Community Manager to keep the property safe, efficient, and ready for residents. You lead and develop your maintenance technicians, housekeepers, and groundskeepers through daily assignments, training, and quality control. You build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth while holding the line on performance and safety.

What You Will Do

You direct the maintenance team and the work that keeps the property strong. This includes leading capital and renovation projects, managing make-ready schedules, unit turns, and vendor coordination, and keeping accurate records for work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of property maintenance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and CPO systems
• Excellent organization, communication, and customer-service skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation as traveling between properties will be required
• The physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for long stretches, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather
