Role OverviewThe Maintenance Support Tech I–IV will perform administrative support-related work in a maintenance office or district headquarters. Work requires contact with private entities. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include answering the telephone, evaluating requests, answering questions, routing messages, and/or serving as a receptionist or front desk assistant. The Maintenance Support Tech I–IV will also assist in preparing monthly and final maintenance contract estimates, conduct spot inventories, and maintain and update office files/records/logs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will have some knowledge of office management practices and procedures, automated record-keeping methods, and applicable computer systems and applications. They will also have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and maintain a safe and effective working relationship with others.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equivalent in general education
- Valid driver’s license
- Maintenance Support Tech I: No experience needed
- Maintenance Support Tech II: 1 year experience
- Maintenance Support Tech III: 3 years' experience
- Maintenance Support Tech IV: 4 years' experience
