Role OverviewThe Maintenance Tech I will perform a variety of mechanical and millwright maintenance duties with guidance and assistance from other higher classified maintenance mechanics. The role involves working from detailed instruction or prescribed routine, assisting on major projects, and performing routine assignments involving carpentry, plumbing, masonry, etc. The successful candidate will maintain continuous movement of work, follow quality control standards, and adhere to established safety rules and policies.
What You Will Do
Perform a variety of mechanical and millwright maintenance duties, work from detailed instruction or prescribed routine, assist on major projects, perform routine assignments involving carpentry, plumbing, masonry, etc., perform scheduled preventive maintenance, and report any damaged or faulty equipment during PM.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3 years work experience, practice good oral and written communication skills, have or secure forklift certification, participate in training events, and possess basic math and organizational skills.
