Role OverviewAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair duties. This position requires the ability to work different shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours outdoors in different weather conditions. Teamwork with the ability to work within different departments and with other staff is necessary to be successful.
What You Will Do
Performing general maintenance and repair duties, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair. Identifying and reporting broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the department supervisor. Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition that meets safety regulations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits from a technical school; or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in all aspects of apartment maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; experience with drywall repairs and painting are essential.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
