Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You'll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, and good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.

What You Will Do

Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery, install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment, repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, pumps, mechanical seals and other related equipment, building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Certification of Vocational School, Journeyman card in Millwright or Maintenance Technician preferred, 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing within a maintenance related position preferred, possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following: Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication, Piping systems, PLC's (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus, Process equipment, Personal Computing.

Requirements

  • Certification of Vocational School
  • Journeyman card in Millwright or Maintenance Technician
  • 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing within a maintenance related position
  • Basic technical knowledge of Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication, Piping systems, PLC's (Programmable logic controllers), Process equipment, Personal Computing
