Role OverviewThe Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on all electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment utilized both underground and surface. Maintenance Technicians will regularly examine equipment to ensure that it is operating appropriately and in compliance with MSHA policies/requirements.

Essential duties include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, diagnosing failures, training less qualified employees, and developing maintenance procedures.

Requirements
- High School or GED diploma required
- Minimum 1.5-years' experience in Operations or Maintenance in a mining industry desired/preferred
- Minimum 3-years' experience working in a heavy equipment re-build shop desired/preferred
- Valid MSHA electrical card preferred
- Welding and cutting certifications/training desired/preferred
