Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, and individual resident units in the Community, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

What You Will Do

Maintain grounds, assist with apartment turnovers, and maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping, and a strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.

Requirements

  • Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
  • Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
