Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure our communities are safe, attractive, and operating within budget. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of all building systems and related code requirements, including fire protection and security, structural, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

What You Will Do

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for responding to and attending to work orders, restoring vacated rooms to 'make ready' status, providing general maintenance services, and maintaining the grounds and key control of the community.

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess or be able to successfully complete requirements as outlined by the MCE Driver Policy
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a confidential environment
  • Possesses a solid understanding of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance
  • Possesses a basic understanding of safety and fire codes
