Role OverviewThe Shift Engineer is responsible for ensuring the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to customers and employees. This involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs across guest rooms and public areas, maintaining and servicing all major building systems, and diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks, completing carpentry and cosmetic repairs, conducting equipment monitoring, reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams, and maintaining accurate records of preventive maintenance and repairs.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required
- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Trade school and/or College course work in related field helpful
