Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a mixed fleet of light vehicles, construction tools, and equipment. The role includes documentation of repairs, monitoring preventative maintenance schedules, and coordinating repairs with 3rd party maintenance partners.

Requirements

  • Professionally represents JHL Constructors and supports company strategic initiatives.
  • Perform routine inspections and services per OEM and JHL maintenance schedules
  • Install, troubleshoot, and remove various telematics devices in accordance with company guidelines
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and service manuals
  • Identify root causes of failure and recommend corrective action
  • Diagnose issues affecting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, emission, CAN bus, and engine management systems
  • Perform essential welding and torch-cutting tasks to repair cracked and worn structures, components, and attachments
  • Repair defects to ensure proper function and safety compliance of all tools and equipment
  • Works cooperatively with project teams, subcontractors, and business partners.
  • Adheres to safety protocols and company health and safety plans and exercises authority to tag out unsafe equipment
  • Completes daily reports and documents activities, progress, and any issues encountered through creating and completing work orders
  • Participate in continuous improvement training programs to enhance skills and promote best practices.
  • Assists with miscellaneous department duties, administrative tasks, and team initiatives.
