Maintenance Technician (FT)

This position is responsible for building maintenance for the Spooky Nook Sports complex. The role involves maintaining good working order of basic building plumbing, HVAC, and electric, repairing drywall, paint, and wallpaper as needed, and conducting preventative maintenance. The technician must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics and maintain the highest safety standards for guests and fellow employees.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining basic building systems, repairing facilities, and conducting preventative maintenance. The technician must also be able to diagnose and repair facility systems when breakdowns occur and maintain documentation of work performed.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in the Maintenance field, strong HVAC-R experience, and the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language. The candidate must also have dependable transportation to and from work and a valid Driver's License. The role requires a highly dependable individual with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, and fellow employees.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Strong preference to those with HVAC-R experience
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Must have dependable transportation to and from work
• Must have valid Driver's License
• 4-6 years of experience in the Maintenance field
• 1-2 years of plumbing experience
• 2-4 years of electrical experience (120 Volt min)
• Degree in Maintenance field or trade certificate completion a plus
• Previous maintenance experience in a hotel/restaurant/entertainment complex setting
