Role Overview

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager, the Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing advanced maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and correcting electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC needs. The position involves collaborating with the Maintenance Manager and Community Manager to assist the leasing staff in achieving occupancy goals and providing a quality living experience for residents.

What You Will Do

Perform maintenance repairs throughout the property, manage the work order process, and maintain a high standard of customer service. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the grounds, conducting preventative maintenance, and assisting with construction/rehabilitation needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2-year's experience performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician or related field
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
  • HVAC CFC certification preferred
  • CPO certification preferred
  • EPA approved certification preferred
