Role OverviewThis is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment in all County facilities. The position also requires maintaining the Lyon County Fairgrounds on a seasonal basis. The role requires a valid driver's license and at least one year of general mechanical maintenance experience.
What You Will Do
Assist in establishing and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules and records for all systems in the assigned County facilities. Perform repairs or have repairs done by others to any County system or building. Assist in establishing and maintaining inventories of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

Must have valid Kansas driver's license, at least one year of prior general mechanical maintenance experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work and communicate with department employees, public, and vendors.
