Role Overview

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will provide customer-oriented maintenance support in a fast-paced biopharma manufacturing environment at Biogen’s RTP site. You will support maintenance activities for process equipment and utilities, ensuring reliability, uptime, and compliance with safety, quality, and cGMP standards.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Reliability teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Perform and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance on process equipment and utilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At minimum, 2 years of maintenance experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated experience performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting manufacturing process equipment/utilities
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, and familiarity with electrical and control systems
  • Experience using CMMS systems for work order management and maintenance tracking
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in cleanroom environments requiring gowning
