Role OverviewThe Maintenance Technician contributes to the hotel's commitment to high-quality guest service and teamwork by maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment. This position is responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting space, and front-of-the-house areas.
What You Will Do
Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, as well as preventative maintenance in guest suites and public areas. Provide exceptional service and interact with guests.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have experience performing repairs, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask. Customer service experience is preferred, preferably in a hotel or related field.
Requirements
- 1 year of building maintenance experience
- Hotel experience preferred
- Strong command of the English language
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amounts of weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
- Basic computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel)
