Role OverviewThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance. The Maintenance Technician is also responsible for the make-ready process in a manner consistent with the property’s operational objectives under the maintenance department and community administrator.
What You Will Do
Perform routine maintenance around the building, ensure all repairs and replacements necessary for community common areas and units, repair broken or leaking plumbing, and maintain the building's HVAC equipment.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Related certifications/license from a trade or technical college
- Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in the maintenance service field
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Willing to submit to any drug screening as requested or required
- All employees must keep their FIRST-AID certification current
- The person selected for this position must be eighteen (18) years or older
