Role OverviewWe are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our production team at Kreate, a family-owned plastic injection molding company. The successful candidate will have the ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, ancillary equipment, and general facility maintenance. As an integral member of the production team, you will share direct responsibility for downtime and efficiencies.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing and addressing repetitive disturbances, performing adjustments and tuning activities, executing both corrective and preventative maintenance, and conducting general facility maintenance. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in work areas, collaborating with production teams and leadership, and documenting maintenance activities.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with injection molding machines and ancillary equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing setting
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills for equipment diagnostics and maintenance record-keeping
