Role Overview

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks across residential or commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, carpentry, and general upkeep. The role requires on-call availability for emergencies and involves responding to resident/tenant service requests. The technician will ensure the overall functionality and appearance of the property by completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance procedures.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, troubleshooting and fixing electrical problems, servicing HVAC systems, performing basic carpentry repairs, addressing appliance malfunctions, and conducting minor painting and touch-up work. The technician will also be responsible for preventative maintenance, including regular inspections of building systems and exterior components.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum of two (2) years' general experience in building trades
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
