Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for overall maintenance of the facility, grounds, and equipment. The position requires a broad understanding of all trades and a self-driven attitude that needs little direction to be successful. The role involves working in a manufacturing environment, including working in and around moving parts, chemicals, lights/lasers, etc. Safety is a top priority.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include diagnosing basic electrical circuits and/or proximity switches/sensors for proper operation, disassembling and reassembling basic and/or complicated machinery, and using software to order parts for repairing equipment. The role also involves working extended hours to get machines and processes up and running, and adapting to changing situations and/or jobs as priorities change.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual with 5 years minimum work experience in various skill trades disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpenter, welding, CNC machining, etc. The candidate should be able to work independently and proactively, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulations
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including working in and around moving parts, chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
  • Must be able to work a flexible (Non-Standard) work schedule
  • 5 years minimum work experience in various skill trades disciplines
  • 5 years minimum work experience in a maintenance function in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to lift 45lbs
