Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician at Atria Senior Living, you'll work in a supportive environment that provides advancement opportunities and promotes a healthy work-life balance. You'll assist in preparing move-in-ready apartments, manage maintenance needs, and perform various preventative maintenance functions.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in preparing move-in-ready apartments, managing all maintenance needs, performing preventative maintenance functions, and completing daily community inspections. You'll also manage customer service requests, perform various maintenance functions, and monitor the maintenance and upkeep of mechanical equipment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To be a fit for this role, you'll need to have two years of hands-on maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to use independent judgment and discretion to make decisions. You'll also need to be able to transport up to 50 pounds, access and work in confined spaces, and possess a valid driver's license.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Two (2) years of hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills, including measurement in order to do basic calculations, estimating, and determining averages.
  • Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and discretion to make decisions designed to achieve the Company's goals.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to transport up to 50 pounds variable distances and to access and work in confined spaces or heights in excess of 8-9 feet.
  • Valid driver's license
