Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative and ongoing maintenance, including custodial care, to ensure properties and buildings are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is passionate for serving individuals in a mission-driven senior services environment.

What You Will Do

Daily inspect building(s) and grounds, perform a wide variety of building and equipment repair, maintenance work, and apartment turnovers, and keep time and material records of all Work Orders.

Requirements

  • Experienced in custodial and service fields
  • Knowledge of acceptable trade practices and building standards
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work area free of spills, debris, and hazards
  • Ability to safely operate ladders, lifts, and tools
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to meet and exceed work order deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of heating systems (HVAC)
  • Ability to perform building inspections and report issues, timely
  • Ability to work as a team or independently
  • Ability to take direction from supervisors
