Role OverviewThe Maintenance Technician will be primarily responsible for conducting routine, preventative, and emergency repairs. This role involves representing LIHI in a professional manner, documenting work, and participating in a plan for sharing on-call duties. The technician will also perform regularly scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks, maintain mechanical equipment, and assist the Development department with punch lists and special tasks.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include performing routine and emergency repairs, conducting inspections, and maintaining property grounds and landscaping. The technician will also assist with punch lists, due diligence, and special tasks, as needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you should have 2 years' experience in building maintenance, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. You should also be knowledgeable in repairs of doors, walls, floors, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, locks, etc. and have regular access to a vehicle and general maintenance tools.
Requirements
- 2 years' experience in building maintenance
- Knowledgeable in repairs of doors, walls, floors, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, locks, etc.
- Regular access to a vehicle and general maintenance tools
- Washington State Labor and Industries 07-B Residential Electrical Maintenance Certification (preferred)
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Pass a driving record check
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
