Role OverviewThe Maintenance Technician supports one or multiple apartment properties maintaining routine service requests as well as preventative maintenance. He/she will be responsible for completing this work safely and timely to provide our residents with superior customer service.
What You Will Do
Perform routine maintenance tasks, service requests, turnovers, preventative maintenance to units and common areas as well as any other duties assigned. Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical and plumbing related issues.

Requirements
- Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools
- Lifting and moving heavy items (water heaters, appliances, rock salt, etc.)
- Be able to shovel and salt as required
- Perform routine, preventative maintenance
- Knowledge and practice of a variety of building trade skills
- Ability to work on step/extension ladders and roofs while following safety protocols
- Able and willing to lift objects as required
- Keep track of inventory and maintain a clean and stocked shop
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Identify safety and hazardous conditions and communicate any issues
- Follow company operational and safety procedures
- Ability to work an on-call schedule as required
